A good way for a luxury transfer is to pre book a limousine. Sunshine Coast Limousines (07 5474 2222) and Noosa VIP Limousines (07 5442 4065) both offer transfers in a range of cars from both Brisbane Airport and Sunshine Coast Airport.
Sun Air Bus Service (07 5478 2811) have 15 scheduled services running every hour from 6am until 7pm. The Sun Air service is fast and frequent, with a door to door option, a transit stop service or a premium/sole use service. Suncoast Pacific (07 5443 1011) operate coach services to Brisbane Airport.
Sunshine Coast Airport (07 5473 1500) is located in Marcoola which is just north of Maroochydore and about 25 minutes drive along the coast to Noosa. Sunshine Coast Airport is a very sensible way to reach Noosa and is a most pleasant small airport. Virgin Blue and Jetstar have recently increased their flights and offer some good deals from Sydney and Melbourne. Sunshine Express operate flights to Brisbane and Sydney.
Flights by Virgin Blue and Jetstar from Sydney and Melbourne operate to Sunshine Coast Airport, a 30 minute drive from Noosa. Transfers are available with Henry’s (07 5474 0199) who meet every flight that arrives at Sunshine Coast Airport.
From Brisbane Queensland Railway (07 3235 5555 or 132 232) offer a two or three hour service to Nambour with a railbus connection to Noosa from Nambour. Trains depart from Central Station or Roma Station in Brisbane.
To obtain train times and ticket prices use the Queensland Transinfo journey planner. Just type in your departure details and arrival location and the planner will work it all out for you. The planner works for all of South East Queensland The train stops at Nambour and has a bus connection to Noosa Heads and Noosaville.
Alternatively , Suncoast Pacific (07 5443 1011) operates nine return trips a day from Roma Street Transit in central Brisbane with a stop at Brisbane airport about 30 minutes later. The trip to Noosa takes about 3 hours with several stops in the town.
